Orchard Park Garden Club will host “A Salute to the Movies: A Standard Flower Show” from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at 1 Fox Run Lane, Route 20A and California Road, Orchard Park. Open to the public; free admission.

East Aurora Garden Club will meet at noon Monday in St. Matthias Episcopal Church, 374 Main St., East Aurora. Nancy Smith, executive director of the Western New York Land Conservancy, will present a program on the conservancy and the Mill Road Scenic Overlook site.

Cheektowaga Garden Club will meet at 6:45 p.m. Monday in the Cleveland Hill High School faculty lunchroom, Mapleview Road, Cheektowaga. At 7:30 p.m. Terry Skura will present “Herbs: The Kitchen Spa”– the use of herbs for pampering oneself. Members’ begonia plants will be judged and awarded. New members and guests are welcome.

Kenmore Garden Club will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Kenmore United Methodist Church, 32 Landers Road, Kenmore. John Farfaglia, a Niagara County Cooperative Extension educator, will present “Putting Your Garden to Bed”– cleanup, garden maintenance and winter prep. Guests welcome.

Amana Garden Club of West Seneca will meet at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Burchfield Nature & Art Center, 2001 Union Road, West Seneca. For the monthly horticulture exhibit, the group will present Amana Orange Heirloom tomatoes for judging. Connie Trawinski will demonstrate line design using fresh and/or dried material. Everyone is encouraged to bring a container and some items from nature to create a centerpiece to take home. Bring brown bag lunch; dessert will be served. All welcome.
