Two men were wounded by gunfire just after midnight today at a home on the city’s East Side, Buffalo police reported.
Police responded to the home on Dunlop Avenue near McCarthy Park where Demitrius Johnson and Michael Floyd had been shot by unknown assailants.
Johnson, 28, was shot in the right shoulder, arm pit and neck and fled in a vehicle that took him to the 300 block of Leroy Avenue, according to police. His girlfriend then transported him to Erie County Medical Center where he was treated and released.
Floyd, 24, was shot in the back and fled to the area of Comstock Avenue and Dartmouth Avenue where he flagged down a vehicle that took him to ECMC. He remains in fair condition.
Police reported that Johnson was uncooperative with their investigation, refusing to answer questions and changing his story several times.
