Four Salamanca men charged with stealing a Seneca Nation marshall’s SUV

Four Salamanca men are being held on grand larceny and other charged for allegedly causing almost $3,000 worth of damage to a stolen SUV that a marshall for the Seneca Nation was using on a called on South Authority Road in Killbuck about 2:30 a.m. Thursday the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office reported today.

Kevin M. Stafford, 21, no home address provided, and Kevin M. Beaver, 21, of Hoy Street, were arrested for allegedly stealing the vehicle on South Authority Road and driving it to Old Route 17 where they met Jordan P. Buffalo, 26, of Newton Farm Road, and Thomas P. Williams, 20, of Center Road. The four are accused taking the stolen vehicle to gravel pits in the Town of Redhouse and damaging it.

Stafford and Beaver are being held on grand larceny, criminal mischief and stolen property counts. Buffalo and Williams are charged with criminal mischief and possession of stolen property.
