NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. – Floodlights will project the colors of the South African flag on Niagara Falls Sunday evening in memory of South African leader Nelson Mandela, who will be laid to rest in an official state funeral earlier that day.
The Falls will be lit in blue, red, yellow and green for 15-minutes each hour from 5:15 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. All Canadian government buildings also will fly their flags at half-staff on Sunday in honor of Mandela, who was an honorary Canadian citizen.
