NIAGARA FALLS, Ont. – The Falls Incline Railway, which connects the Table Rock tourist area next to the Horseshoe Falls and the hilltop hotels, has been closed indefinitely because of a major water main break at Main Street and Stanley Avenue, the Niagara Parks Commission reported Wednesday.
Water damage has affected not only the railway, but also sections of the NPC’s North Parking Lot and the NPC Parking Administration Office.
All will remain closed until damages are cleaned up and repairs are made. The Falls Incline Railway was upgraded earlier this year so that it could provide year-round service.
