Buffalo Public Schools officials have cancelled all student and Adult Education after-school activities for today because of the impending storm. This includes all scheduled afternoon and evening parent and community meetings, as well as after-school practices and clubs.
Parents were advised to plan for students to be released at regular dismissal times.
Decisions about Tuesday’s classes and activities have not been made yet, but officials urged parents to check the district web site at www.buffaloschools.org for updates.
Other districts were monitoring the situation. Administrators in Williamsville, for instance, were not sure whether they would make a decision this afternoon or tomorrow morning, but said they will notify parents as soon as a decision is reached.
