NIAGARA FALLS – The Niagara Falls Water Board was working Tuesday to fix eight watermain leaks in the city. Repair work, which started over the weekend, will continue through the week at the identified sites, the Water Board announced Tuesday.
The locations of the leaks are:
• 510 20th St.
• 1658 South Ave.
• 1522 Hyde Park Blvd.
• 2026 Virginia Ave.
• 484 24th St.
• 2909 Grand Ave.
• 2327 14th St.
• 3252 Ontario Ave.
As a result of the watermain repair work, customers may experience low water pressure and/or discoloration. If discoloration occurs, customers should run the cold water tap from the lowest point in their residence or business for three minutes or until clear. Water quality will not be adversely impacted during these repairs and is entirely safe for consumption.
