ROYALTON – A knifepoint holdup Sunday evening at Crosby’s, 7953 Rochester Road, was the second such robbery of the day for Niagara County sheriff’s investigators. According to reports, a white male in his twenties entered the store at around 6:30 p.m., displayed a knife and demanded money. The suspect fled on foot after receiving an undetermined amount of cash.
He was described as between 5-feet-7 and 6 feet tall with a thin build, similar to the description of a suspect who robbed the NOCO Express Shop on South Transit Road in Lockport a couple of hours earlier.
The suspect wore a black knit hat with lighter colored stripes and a mid-thigh-length tan hooded coat. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Office at 438-3328 or 438-3394
