Jocoy, Vilardo seek re-election to Falls school board as a team

NIAGARA FALLS – Incumbents Arthur Jocoy Jr. and Nicholas Vilardo have announced they are running for re-election to the Niagara Falls School Board as a team.

Prospective challengers have until April 30 to file nominating petitions for the May 20 election. Jocoy and Vilardo hold the only seats to be filled this year.

Jocoy was first elected in 2009 and Vilardo joined the board in 2004.

Both members are graduates of the Niagara Falls City School District, and lifelong residents of the City of Niagara Falls.

Vilardo, the board vice president, is a retired Fire Department battalion chief and Jocoy owns Jocoy’s Collision.
