LOCKPORT – A 58-year-old former Lockport bank worker pleaded not guilty today in Lockport Town Court to charges of grand larceny and scheme to defraud for allegedly stealing more than $35,000 from the bank accounts of seven elderly Lockport area residents before she moved to Spring Hill, Fla.

Vickie Fritton, arrested after an investigation by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation of the New York State Police, was allowed by Town Justice Cheryl Antkowiak to remain free without bail pending May 22 court proceedings in the case. Fritton is accused of stealing $10,000 from the bank account of an elderly Lockport man and more than $25,000 from the accounts of six other elderly bank customers.

State Police did not disclose the bank where Fritton worked or the time period for her alleged crimes.
