A 20-year-old Como Park Boulevard man arrested for drug possession during a traffic stop Monday has been jailed on charges linked to two recent Cheektowaga home burglaries in the Sky Harbor Mobile Home Park and is under investigation for possible involvement in three others, Cheektowaga Assistant Chief James Speyer said Friday.
Nathan J. Moore was remanded to the Erie County Holding Center by Cheektowaga Town Justice Paul S. Piotrowski .
Moore was charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminal mischief, criminal possession of a controlled substance and possession of a hypodermic instrument. Officers reported finding heroin and needles in his vehicle Monday.
He also is charged with stealing a television during a March 9 break-in at a Harmony Lane home and the theft of cash and more than $1,500 worth of jewelry during a noontime burglary on March 24 at a Tammy Lane home.
