Western New York Independent Living is hosting its inaugural open house from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at 3108 Main St. to demonstrate the range of assistive services and programs to help those with disabilities maintain their independence. Tours of the facility will be provided every 15 minutes beginning at noon. Visitors will learn how the agency works to empower, educate and create equality through household living skills, employment, transportation, counseling, benefits advisement, education advocacy, and family reimbursement. There will be a community fair and basket raffle. The building is accessible for individuals with disabilities.
