Organizers of the TEDxBuffalo conference, which seeks to inspire innovation through the sharing of ideas, are seeking speakers for the fourth-annual version of the event.
People interested in participating in the Oct. 14 TEDxBuffalo, which will be held at Canisius College and has the theme of “In Motion,” can submit a pitch video to the conference organizers by May 31.
The TEDxBuffalo team is looking for speakers who are trying to change the community in a positive way and are able to motivate the audience to take action themselves.
TEDxBuffalo has a license from the national TED conference, which takes as its slogan “Ideas Worth Spreading,” and speakers at the Buffalo version should discuss themes that are relevant to TED’s global audience.
Speakers will learn by June 30 at the latest if they’ve been selected for the 2014 TEDxBuffalo. They will work with the organizing committee to prepare and perfect their speech in the months leading up to the event.
