LOCKPORT – The Cornell Cooperative Extension Center is inviting photographers to participate in its 2014 photo contest, “A Good Thing Growing – Celebrating Niagara County Agriculture.”
Photographs should promote and recognize themes such as: farmers and their families, the produce they grow, the animals they raise, the beauty of the land, and the contribution to our community. First prize is $100 with prizes of $50 for second, $25 for third and $15 for honorable mention.
Cornell Cooperative Extension will choose top photographs and winning photos will be chosen by a community vote. All entries will be displayed at the Niagara County Fair, 4487 Lake Ave., from July 30 to Aug. 3.
Voting will open during the fair 10 a.m. July 30 to 1 p.m. Aug. 3. Vote in person by ballot or on facebook at www.facebook/cceniagara.
