SILVER CREEK – Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the report that a man offered a ride to a 13-year-old girl on Bennett State Road near Silver Creek Central School about 4 p.m. Wednesday.
The girl, who walked away from the man, describing him as between 50 to 60 years old, wearing glasses, having a mustache with white hair and of average build. The vehicle was described as a dark green SUV or Jeep. The Sheriff’s Office asked anyone with information to call (716) 753-4231.
