Nathan Riexinger of Lancaster High School won the 2014 Junior Achievement Business Plan Challenge, receiving a $2,000 scholarship provided by Delta Air Lines.
A team consisting of Danielle Arnold and Megan Krebs from Pembroke High School took second place; they were awarded the John Lord Hettrick Sr. Memorial Scholarship, with each receiving $500. Grace Herman of Lockport High School was third, winning a $500 scholarship from Junior Achievement of Western New York’s board of directors.
Sixteen teams from seven schools participated in the competition, pitching their concepts to a panel of judges.
