Garden Friends of Clarence will hold a perennial plant sale from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Clarence Town Park, large pavilion, 10405 Main St., Clarence. Open to the public.

Orchard Park Garden Club will hold its annual spring plant sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Orchard Park Railroad Depot, behind the library. Annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, accent plants and hanging baskets will be available.

East Park Garden Club will hold its annual sale of perennials and houseplants from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Town Hall Gazebo, Whitehaven and Baseline roads, Grand Island.

Niagara Frontier Botanical Society will hold a sale of collectible native plants, wildflowers and varieties from members’ gardens from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the Harlem Road Community Center, 4255 Harlem Road, Amherst, near Main Street.

Countryside Garden Club of Elma will hold a sale of perennial plants from members’ gardens from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday at the corner of Bowen and Rice roads, across from the Elma Public Library (old Town Hall).

The Buffalo Area Daylily Society will hold its annual May Mecca meeting at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Town of Aurora Senior Center, 101 King St. at Oakwood Avenue, East Aurora. Local hybridizers Carol Haj and Pam Hoffman will give two American Hemerocallis Society (AHS) presentations: “Daylilies as a Garden Perennial” and “AHS Photo Contest.” Daylilies from renowned hybridizers Mort Morss and David Kirchhoff will be available for purchase.

Bud ‘n Bloom Garden Club will hold its annual plant sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Deakin’s barn, Route 20, Portland. The sale of unusual perennials started from seed, annual arrangements, herbs and vegetables will benefit Literacy Volunteers of Chautauqua County.

Carol Ann Harlos, master gardener coordinator for Erie County, will present a program on the emerald ash borer at 7 p.m. Monday in the Amherst Main Library at Audubon, 350 Audubon Parkway. Free and open to the public.

Hamburg House and Garden Club members will participate in a spring cleanup and planting at 4 p.m. Tuesday in Memorial Park and 4 p.m. Wednesday in the Centennial Gardens, Village of Hamburg. Pizza and a business meeting will follow Tuesday’s cleanup at 7 p.m. Ken Brown, of Field of Dreams Christmas tree farm in South Wales, will present “Things Gardeners Should Know but Don’t.” For club information, call Nancy Kalieta at 826-7462.

Tickets are available for Vines & Wines, to be held 3 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Merani Hotel Group’s Four Points by Sheraton, 7001 Buffalo Ave. Niagara Falls. The event benefits the Niagara Floral Center and Greenhouse horticulture program and its participants with disabilties at Opportunities Unlimited of Niagara. Pre-sale tickets are $20 ($25 at the door). Linwood Gardens will feature the historic collection of Tree Peonies in a Festival of Flowers on Saturday and Sunday and also May 24-25 and May 31-June 1 at 1912 York Road, Pavilion.
