The former Sattler’s Department Store property across from the Broadway Market is going up for auction.
Cash Realty & Auctions will sell the 90,000-square-foot building at 998 Broadway at a public auction that begins at noon June 29.
The site was originally home to Sattler’s main store, which was demolished in 1987.
The site remained vacant until 1991, when Kmart built the new store, which then closed in 2002.
A flyer from Cash Realty describes the building as ideal for retail, a call center, industrial assembly work, a charter school or a warehouse.
Auction terms require a $50,000 cash deposit or certified funds on the day of the sale, with closing in 30 days.
