LOCKPORT – Johnson-Rose Corp., a maker of commercial cookware and restaurant equipment, was approved by the town Planning Board this week for a 10,460-square-foot addition to its plant in the Town of Lockport industrial park, Councilwoman Patricia Dufour said.

The family-owned company, founded in Montreal in 1948, opened a Lockport plant in 1986.

Dufour also said the Planning Board is ready to approve the first phase of an expansion at Mantelli Trailer Sales, 685 S. Transit Road, at its meeting next month.
