NIAGARA FALLS - The Conference & Event Center Niagara Falls had its busiest July on record, the firm that manages it reported Tuesday.
Conferences held last month at the downtown facility brought in more than 3,000 guests and accounted for more than 4,000 room nights in area hotels, Global Spectrum said in a news release.
The events held in the Falls consisted of the 19th Annual Ronald McNair Research Conference, American Legion – New York Regional Convention, American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy Conference, National Association Of Scientific Materials Managers Conference and the Uniform Data System for Medical Rehabilitation Annual Meeting.
“Based on industry standards, we estimate that these five conferences have contributed a tremendous $2.275 million of economic impact to Niagara Falls,” said Ryan Coate, general manager of the facility.
