NIAGARA FALLS – Community Missions of Niagara Frontier Inc. has been awarded a three-year matching grant totaling $78,558 from the Peter and Elizabeth C. Tower Foundation through its annual Technology Initiative.
The agency, which provides programs to help the homeless and hungry at several locations in Niagara County, will use the funding to install a new wireless access system, purchase servers, build a new website and set up work stations for clients.
“A key component of our funding comes through Medicaid billing, which is generated through a software program,” said Grant Babcock, director of operations for Community Missions.
