M&T Bank Corp. has taken more space inside the Lafayette Court Building in downtown Buffalo.
The Buffalo-based bank has leased nearly 2,300 square feet of first floor space that formerly housed an office of Rep. Louise Slaughter.
The additional space supports the growth of M&T’s central technology division, said Chet Bridger, a bank spokesman. Ten employees of that division are moving into the space, and some of the space will kept available for meetings and project work.
With the latest addition, M&T now has more than 98,000 square feet of leased space in Lafayette Court, which is managed by Ciminelli Real Estate Corp.
