A 34-year-old West Delavan Avenue man was arrested for drunken driving and other counts when police found an open container of alcohol in his car at a traffic checkpoint in the first block of Montclair Avenue about 6 p.m. Thursday.
Christopher A. Martin also was charged with aggravated unlicensed driving for operating a car with a suspended driver’s license and consuming alcohol in a vehicle. According to a police report, he admitted drinking and failed four sobriety tests at the scene.
