An adult and two children are receiving temporary shelter from the Red Cross following a $75,000 blaze that started in “multiple” locations in their Briscoe Avenue home late Tuesday night, fire officials said.
How the fires started at approximately 10 p.m. remains under investigation, the officials said. The 1½-story, wood-framed structure, at 83 Briscoe, is on the block between Doat Street and Walden Avenue on the East Side.
