The Red Cross was called to assist four adults displaced by a fire that ripped through their two-family home in Buffalo’s Old First Ward on Monday morning.
Firefighters responded to a 7:50 a.m. alarm at 267 Katherine St., east of Louisiana Street and south of South Park Avenue.
The fire left an estimated $90,000 damage. The cause remains under investigation.
One firefighter was treated for neck burns, according to unconfirmed reports from witnesses.
