SANBORN – A Clothesline Project exhibit will be on display at Niagara County Community College in the Student Center Building G, 3111 Saunders Settlement Road, this week as part of Sexual Awareness Month. Each T-shirt tells a unique story and is decorated by a man or woman who has been affected by sexual violence, as a victim, survivor, friend or family member.

The exhibit opened on Monday and will continue today at 12:30 p.m. with a class on making a Zen Garden. At noon on Wednesday a workshop on intimate partner violence will be offered along with a free pasta lunch. At 12:30 p.m. Thursday there will be a workshop on self-defense along with a free pizza lunch and at noon on Friday there will be a stress management workshop, a chance to make dreamcatchers and a wrap up lunch.

The display is sponsored by the college’s Wellness Center and the NCCC Student Life “Promise for Tomorrow” program of suicide prevention.
