The Buffalo Irish Festival returns to Canalside on the waterfront this weekend with three days of Irish entertainment, dance, genealogy, food, beverages and an artisan market with more than two-dozen vendors.
Festivities kick off with the Parade of Irish County Flags on the boardwalk at 5 p.m. Friday. Hours are 5 to 11 p.m. Friday, noon to 11 p.m. Saturday and noon to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Headlining the continual lineup of music on two stages will be Enter the Haggis, a Toronto-based roots-rock band; the Glengharry Bhoys, an alternative Celtic band; and Burning Bridget Cleary, a Celtic band.
