MACHIAS – A 27-year-old Machias woman was arrested for aggravated drunk driving last week after another Machias woman alerted state police to the other woman’s driving problems, state police reported Monday.
Patricia L. McConnell was arrested last Tuesday for having a blood-alcohol reading of 0.21 percent, more than twice the state’s legal limit, after another woman notified troopers about McConnell’s driving problems. McConnell was arrested after troopers pulled over her car about 4:45 p.m. that day and charged her with aggravated driving while intoxicated after a blood test. She faces proceedings in Machias Town Court in several weeks.
